The Foundations of our Faith

Framing

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free"Luke 4:18

Our mission is expressed in the words of Christ:

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the age" (Matt. 28:19-20).

We serve to help people meet God, receive forgiveness of sins, and find salvation. Our task is to preach the teaching of the Bible so that people can learn the truth about God, about themselves, about the meaning of life, about the way of salvation and the gaining of eternal life after death. We base our teachings solely on the Bible, which is the Revelation of the Lord God given to mankind. Scripture is the source of our faith and the highest authority in matters of doctrine and the Christian life.

1. We believe in the one God who created all things visible and invisible, the Omnipresent and Almighty, who exists in three persons: the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

2. We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. Jesus Christ was crucified, died for our sins, and rose from the dead to justify us. Then He ascended to heaven, sat at the right hand of God, and became the only Mediator between God and man.

3. We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, regenerates believers, lives in us, instructs, fulfills with power for a godly life, gives gifts for the ministry in the Church.

4. We believe that Jesus Christ created the Church and He is the Head of the Church. All who believe in Christ are baptized by the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ and are members of the Church of Christ. Life Transformation International Ministry (LTIM) is a gathering of regenerated souls who have voluntarily come together to serve the Lord together and meet spiritual needs. We believe that the primary purpose of the Church, according to Christ's Great Commission, is to proclaim the gospel through evangelism and discipleship.

"But those who believe shall be accompanied by these signs: in my name they shall cast out demons; will speak new languages; will take snakes; and if anything deadly is drunk, it will not harm them; lay their hands on the sick, and they will be healthy (Mark. 16:17,18).

5. We believe that water baptism and the Lord's Supper (breaking of bread) are commandments that followers of Christ must observe. However, baptism and the Supper without saving faith do not provide salvation.

6. We believe in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, who will appear in a visible way in glory for the judgment of the living and the dead.

7. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead: for believers, to glory and eternal bliss, for unbelievers, to eternal condemnation and absolution in the throes of hell. Jesus Christ said:

"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3).

Based on this, we believe that:
- Each person must open his heart to God in the prayer of repentance
- Every born-again Christian should grow spiritually in his faith, in love for God and people
- Every Christian must bear spiritual fruits: in the knowledge of God, in good deeds and service to God, the Church and the people of this world.

"That they may act worthy of God, pleasing Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good deed, and growing in the knowledge of God" (Col. 1:10).

Amen.
