A Short History

"My Father’s House: A Vision From a Van"

In the early 2000’s, Pastor George Dodd of Calvary Gospel Church in New York Mills started an active “Van Ministry”. Every Saturday morning, he would take the church van into West Utica and pick up people from halfway houses and bring them back to church for prayer. Afterwards, he would take them to an all-you-can-eat buffet. The ministry produced great results; many lives were saved and changed.

After some time, God gave a vision to Pastor Dodd of a small boy running after the van and saying, “When are you coming here?”. He understood that God was calling him to have a physical presence in West Utica. After much prayer, God provided an old bar on the corner of Sunset and Bristol Streets. The building required a lot of restoration, but after the restoration was completed, the building was renamed My Father’s House. People came, lives were impacted, and God was glorified!

In early 2020, a group of volunteers from the House of Prayer in Utica, NY joined the vision and the workforce at My Father’s House. However, when the pandemic hit, numbers dwindled among participants and volunteers. In early 2022, a new ministry, Life Transformation International Ministry Inc. (LTIM), took over operations of My Father’s House.

God is calling LTIM to partner with other ministries to bring a revival and reawakening to the world, starting at our local Jerusalem in Utica and to the end of the world!
